Hello Judith
I just read your review of 'On the Line' from my home
here in the north
east of Tasmania. Thank you for mentioning my work .......and
yes I do
usually listen to music while working, either classical
or something
very moody normally with no voice so I can concentrate
on the work.
Just thought I would send a couple of images from a full
show of works
on the forest theme that are currently showing here at
the Devonport
Regional Art Gallery. All works are on 300gsm paper made
from recycled
or waste cotton, cordyline and hemp here in Tas.Will
include just a
bottom section of one of the other hairy trees and a
black and white of
the spotty tree series which measures 1.6 m H x 2.2mW.
Thought this
would put the other work in context for you. I am continuing
with
further explorations of this lush and very beautiful
old growth forest
called the Blue Tier which is near my home and is (unbelievably)
in
threat of being clearfelled by the Forestry Dept here.
